GCSEs: Millais School pupil ‘couldn’t believe’ what she was seeing
A pupil at Horsham’s Millais girl school had to get a friend to read out her GCSE results because she ‘couldn’t believe’ what she was seeing.
Kate Wilcock, 16, discovered she had achieved nine A*s and two As when she went to collect her results this morning (Thursday August 22).
Other high achievers from the school includes Faye McDiarnid, 16, who gained 11 A*s and Jessica Speed, 16, who earned ten A*s and four As.
Jessica told the County Times: “I had my eyes shut while opening it but when I looked at it I was ecstatic.”
