Brighton and Hove 'way ahead of the national average' for top A-Level grades
In the city, 34.3 per cent of grades were A* to A – compared to 26.4 per cent nationally.

98.7 per cent of exams taken received pass grades (A*-E), exceeding national figures
Cllr Dan Chapman, chair of Brighton and Hove City Council’s children, young people and skills committee, said: “In terms of high achieving A-level students we’re way ahead of the national average.
“This is also the sixth year running that Brighton and Hove’s overall pass rate is equal to or above national figures.
