Following the incident, a video is reported to have emerged on social media showing some of what happened.
Responding to this, Stephen Holt of Your Eastbourne BID said, “Our street ambassadors responded to a call from a business after reports an individual had been verbally aggressive to members of the public and staff.”
Mr Holt said the street ambassadors are ‘highly experienced’ and have supplied the same service in Brighton for more than a decade.
