A vehicle in Ardingly was broken into on Monday (May 10) around midday, said Mid Sussex Police.

Inspector Darren Taylor said the team was investigating after a window was smashed and a hand bag was stolen.

He said: “Just a reminder #TeamMidSussex please don’t leave items on display, there are opportunist thieves out there so don’t give them the opportunity!”
