GIRL Guides from the London and South East region have been challenged to get outside and ‘grow up wild’.
The organisation has created a set of badges to encourage the girls to get outside.

Hide Ad4th Lancing Guides have taken up few of these challenges, and have been having meetings anywhere other than their normal hall.
They have been on a walk up to the Lancing Ring where they laid on the floor and did a spot of stargazing, and also spent an evening at Lancing beach, where they paddled, collected shells, went rock pooling, wrote in the sand, and built sand castles complete with moats and pebble gardens.
The girls also cooked sausages at a BBQ on the beach.
Some of the group are off to a camping festival weekend organised by Girl Guiding called Wellies & Wristbands, where they will see bands like Bars & Melody, Three Times Over, Polar Collective, and The Waiters.
There is also a county camp on offer with lots of different activities, and the Big Gig is coming up too.
