CLARIFICATION: An item on a news page of this newspaper last week attributed to me comments about Isfield Brewing Company. I should make it clear that these words were contained in an aide memoire to a staff reporter on a ‘for your information’ basis, and that I had neither the authority nor intention to comment publicly on the unverified affairs of the microbrewery.
