Elegantly designed
Love the plan to include tamarisks at Splash Point.
Not sure if they're natives, but they certainly conjure up long, hot summers on the West Sussex coast.
I remember tamarisks years ago on the Angmering seafront.
Elegant, wispy, sun-loving. They should lure that Mediterranean warmth north.

Hide AdWhat about a fabulously-designed, state-of-the-art conference centre where the old Worthing police station used to be?
Something for conference-goers who don't want all the razzamatazz of Brighton and a wonderful amenity for Worthing and Sussex '“ with a caf, restaurant, film theatre etc.
I imagine the town's hotels would jump at all the additional trade it would bring.
On a less happy note, the Old Steyne was a total trash tip on Monday.
