LETTER: So many shops have vanished
On a slightly more familiar note, one wonders who allowed that monstrous block of flats to be built on Eastbourne seafront, near the beautiful Hydro Hotel? Even uglier, if possible, than the average seven supermarkets. Roll on the revolution, and I’m off to the pub. Carefully, if possible, avoiding the green fields reserved for even more supermarkets!
