Arts festival success for gymnastics club
The audiences were treated to sixty routines which had been created by the gymnasts themselves.
This year the girls competition featured Ribbon Pairs, Beam Pairs and Hoop Solos, culminating in the ever popular Acrobatic Sixes.

Hide AdThe boys competition featured Sports Acrobatic pairs.The boys pairs winners were Adam Drew & Lucas Jones. The Beam Pair competition
winners were :- Year 3 & 4 - Grace Heath & Grace Mason, Year 5 & 6 - Esther Powell & Morgan Roland, Seniors - Phoebe Campbell & Hannah Martin. The rhythmic apparatus for pairs this year was ribbon with the winners being Year 3 & 4 - Emily Holmes & Georgia Morris, Year 5 & 6 - Hannah Wilson & Gemma Wallman with the senior section won by Madeleine Madgwick & Charlotte Drew.The Hoop Solo winners were Year 3 & 4 - Tamia Morton, Year 5 & 6 Jessica Taylor with Ria Banitas winning the Seniors title.
The final competitions were the ever popular Sports Acrobatic Sixes, where six gymnasts perform a sequence including agilities, balances and dance. The routines are always both skilful and entertaining. The Junior Six winning team was Kate Townsend, Nicole Wood, Rachel Wilkinson,
Grace Williams, Jasmine Cross and Alexa Rose. The Senior Six competition was the closest fought for several years with the winners inseparable. There was a tie between Charlotte Drew, Madeleine Madgwick, Rebecca Girt, Laura Johnstone, Phoebe Campbell and Hannah Martin
