Letter: Children not kids

But what example do we, as so-called adults, set them?

If a child was to call their mother a cow or their father a silly old goat, or any other disrespectful name, we would consider them to be rude and lacking in respect, wouldn’t we?

And yet these days we increasingly address them as kids – young goats! What an insult this is, not only to the child but also to God in whose image they are made!
