Hassocks children’s charities support each other for Christmas
The Budding Foundation, based at South Downs Heritage Centre and supported by Tates of Sussex, have provided a grant to assist Childhelp Hassocks, whose Keymer Road shop has suffered a reduction in donations.
Clive Gravett, founder of The Budding Foundation, said: “I am pleased we are able to help another local charity who share our aims in providing funds to help improve the lives of local young people in need.”

The Budding Foundation raise a large part of their income from their two Christmas grottos, at South Downs Nurseries in Hassocks and at Old Barn Garden Centre at Dial Post.
Clive said: “In these difficult times we feel families will be looking for some normality at Christmas, and visiting Santa will no doubt help.”
