Two social workers at Brighton and Hove City Council have been honoured with a royal invitation.

Jennifer Parr and Ruth Nathan have been invited to a Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday, May 15.

It follows a visit to the city last year by the Children’s Minister, Nadhim Zahawi, who met with local families and learned first-hand about some of the difficulties they face.
