The biggest winners at the 2020 Game Awards - plus where to buy
The 2020 Game Awards were hosted last night, with Naughty Dog's hit sequel "The Last of Us Part II" proving the big winner.
As well as picking up game of the year, the critically-acclaimed game picked up key awards through the night, including best narrative, action/adventure game, audio design, performance (Laura Bailey) and best direction.

Hide Ad"Hades" was also a big winner on the night, picking up best indie game and action game, as was "Among Us" - best multiplayer game and mobile game.
The latest entry into the long-running Final Fantasy Franchise, "Final Fantasy VII Remake" picked up best score, RPQ, and sound.
Although the format of the awards was adapted to accommodate social distancing, it was nevertheless a thoroughly glamorous affair, with the ceremony aired live in London, Toyko, and Los Angeles.
There were musical performances from Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam) and the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and a host of special guests, including Tom Holland, Gal Gadot, Brie Larson, and director Christopher Nolan, who announced the game of the year.

Hide AdNaughty Dog’s "The Last of Us Part II" was created and directed by Neil Druckmann, who expressed gratitude to his team for for their help creating the game.
“More than anything and I know I speak for the whole team, we’d like to thank our friends and family to who stuck by us while we were making this game. You continue to inspire us in making better games but also in how we make these games,” Druckman said.
"The Last of Us Part II" follows Ellie as she travels across Seattle in search of the original protagonist Joel’s brother, Tommy.
Four years on from the original, Ellie is more assured and determined. Players take control of her as she deals with the infected that exist across the land, all the while seeking answers about a mysterious cult within Seattle. It's a dark but narratively engrossing game, with incredible visuals and arresting violence.
