Charman delighted with another Horsham win and a first clean sheet in 24 games
Having netted a hat-trick in a 6-2 hammering of Guernsey on Saturday, Billy Dunn was on target again and his ninth minute goal proved enough for a 1-0 win over Crawley Down on Tuesday.
The pair of wins are Charman’s first as manager, lifting the side up to 17th in the Ryman South table following nine games without victory.

The only slight disappointment for the player/manager was an inability to kill the Anvils off in a game they dominate, the visitors not managing a shot on target over the entire 90 minutes.
Charman, who came off at half-time with a side strain, said: “I’m really pleased for the boys, it was a tough game today. Conditions were very heavy and obviously the work-rate they put in on Saturday they started feeling it the last 20 minutes.
“Great result, it’s the first time for a long long time we’ve kept a clean sheet. When you’re down the bottom like we are you need three points to claw yourself out of it and six points in four days has helped out no end.

“Billy Dunn took the limelight on Saturday but I thought Jamie Cade today was exceptional, he must have covered every blade of grass on the pitch.
“Again Byron Napper, he’s been back two games and we’ve won both. The stats don’t lie and the guy makes things happen, there’s no doubt we’ve missed him.
And he added: “Hunts (goalkeeper Michael Hunter) didn’t have a shot to save all game, we were very comfortable.
