Clark is latest Sussex star to come off the Horsham conveyor belt
Clark showed his potential by hitting eight high-class boundaries at the St Lawrence Ground on the first day of what turned out to be a three-day defeat for Sussex.
Batting after tea Clark and Sussex skipper Ben Brown added 83 to take Sussex to their first batting bonus point, left-handed Clark contributing an attractive 65 from 77 balls, until he danced down the pitch only to chip a simple catch to mid-on.

Clark said: “It feels great to get that first half-century out of the way and it was really nice to make a significant contribution to the total.
“It was pleasing to post this score and for me personally to make a decent contribution. It’s massive for me to know I’ll get a decent run in the side throughout this Bob Willis Trophy.”
