Crucial weekend for Priory hopes
Priory will return to the Premier League summit if they can pull off maximum points victories away to Brighton & Hove today (Saturday) and at home to the Sussex Development XI on Sunday.
“You always want to try and get two wins on your academy weekend because it can be such a big momentum changer,” said Priory captain George Campbell.

Hide AdCurrently in third place, Priory are 27 points behind leaders Horsham and 21 adrift of second-placed Preston Nomads having played the same number of matches as both of the top two.
“Pick up two wins and it’s a completely different table again,” continued Campbell, who scored a half-century with the bat and took three wickets with the ball in last weekend’s draw at home to East Grinstead.
Priory have remained within sight of the leaders despite losing three and failing to win any of their last six league matches, two of which were abandoned.
Campbell added: “As long as we keep doing the right things and keep putting ourselves in the right places, I’m not too worried. We played some decent cricket in patches on Saturday so I’m sure a win is round the corner.”
