Findon hoping for large Village Cup crowd
The game starts at 1pm at Long Furlong and Meaney said: “It’s a huge game. We’re at home, we have good tradition in the competition and I’m hoping there will be a big crowd there as it boosts the players, who always look forward to these games.
“This round tends to be one of the most difficult. If we can get through this, then you can begin to dream about Lord’s a little bit as this competition is a big thing for the club and for the local community.”

All-rounder Mickey Demetriou, who also played at Lord’s, and opening batsman Jack Metters are back available after they missed Findon’s nine-wicket league win at St James on Saturday.
