It was Maguire-Drew’s first goal for the Reds, since signing on loan from Leyton Orient, and it was one to remember, as he fired a cracking shot in off the post to earn all three points.
Here’s how John Yems’ side rated in their valiant win.
1. Glenn Morris - 7
Looked a bit uncomfortable early on as he desperately scrambled across goal for a tame shot which was heading wide but recovered well and made a great save on the half-hour mark. The offside flag would have ruled the goal out but The Cat wasn't to know. Was nearly beat with a chipped effort which hit the crossbar. Rarely tested after that as Reds' defence held firm.
2. Archie Davies - 7
Did his defensive duties well. Stand out moment was a fantastic recovery tackle after sprinting back following a loose pass.
3. Jordan Tunnicliffe - 8
Strong in the air, winning all the headers. Coped well with a flurry of set-pieces early on. Was congratulated by his manager after winning a foul in the first-half whilst defending strongly against Alfie May.
4. Joe McNerney - 8
A superb piece of defening to win the ball off Alfie May as he looked to shoot in the second-half. Looked comfortable at the heart of defence alongside Tunnicliffe. They both easily dealt with Ben Tozer's long throw-ins.
