Misery for Midhurst is delight for Dorking
They began on the front foot and Liam Dreckman had the ball in the visitors’ net after just nine minutes after he outran Shane Duffell and gave keeper Paul Williams little chance.
The visitors were finding it hard to make much impression on a Midhurst team welcoming back defender Jamie Angell after his recovery from a leg injury.

However Dorking were lifting the tempo and a moment’s indecision in defence saw Matt Evans level after 35 minutes.
Soon Williamson was drawn out of his area to give Evans an easy chance which he somehow put over the bar.
After the break, the referee was finding it hard to control some of the more robust play and booked Nathan Castleton.
