Point to point course reversed for new season
The change has been necessary in order for the Crawley and Horsham Hunt to be able to secure the future of the track, with all Parham land in that area being up for negotiation.
It's a change which has been welcomed by many people, for there have been owners and trainers who have said they would not run their horses on the previous track because of the downhill start and finish.

Hide AdJamie Hawksfield, of the Crawley and Horsham point-to-point, explained: "The decision to go the other way round was influenced by two things. Firstly, the owner of the land that makes up the first 300 yards of the old course was not certain to allow us to use it this year and we simply couldn't take the risk.
"Secondly, many have said to us they wouldn't run their horses at Parham because of the downhill start and finish. They think it would be a much better course left-handed and now we have portable fences, let's give it a go.
